Apple Pay – the Newest Payment Mode from Apple

As much as possible, you don’t want to bring your wallet to anywhere you go. Well, do you have any idea that you can already use your iPhone to pay whatever you buy, these days? Apple is now introducing the Apple Pay, for which you can easily swipe your iPhone to pay for your purchases.

Getting started with Apple Pay

For you to start with this newest addition of Apple apps, you will need the latest version of the iPad or iPhone- iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, iPad Air 2 or the iPad Air Mini 3, Apple Watch. Such devices are the only ones capable of using Apple Pay, for the reason that they are equipped with the Secure Element chip, which ensures the security of every payment you will make.

The Secure Element chip technology helps in keeping your payment data locked and secure. NFC is another technology being used for creating Apple Pay. It helps in facilitating the payments in stores where it is supported. However, the NFC technology helps you in making the payments by just holding your device against the payment reader. Whenever your tablet doesn’t have the NFC antennas, then you can still use the application using the retailer’s app.

Verification of cards

It is always important that your cards are verified. For the verification, the Passbook will email you the code or sends it through SMS or that they will call you. It all depends on which method you have chosen to receive the code. Copying and pasting them to your Passbook is the next thing you have to do. The verified cards will then be available in the simulated stack in the Passbook application.

In order to reorganize the order of your cards, then you only need to tap and drag it to your heart’s content. However, you should keep in mind that the first card stands for the default payment. If you would like to keep the payments with any card other than your default card, go to Settings and choose another card.

It’s time to buy whatever you want!

If you own the newest sets of Apple gadgets and are using Apple Pay, gone are the days when you have to get your wallet at the bottom of your bag, find which cards work or get a pile of dollars and pay for the item. With Apple Pay, everything you purchased can be paid by holding your iPhone against it and, pressing your finger to the Touch ID. Once you heard the beep, then the payment is already processed. The receipt will then be stored in your Passbook app for your record. Moreover, the cards supported by Apple Pay are Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Bank of America, Chase, Wells Fargo and Capital One.
